Walgreens...

We will be staying at Rosen Inn Pointe on our first night before we check into RPR. I know there is a Walgreens across the street, I presume this is the equivalent to our Boots?

I was thinking about getting all my toiletries once we arrive to keep the weight down in the luggage, does anyone else do this and what brands would you recommend?

Thanks

You can get your toiletries from Walgreens and also milk and maybe a sandwich or too.

Can't help you on brands

I'd liken it more to a better version of SuperDrug rather than Boots.
The range is great for all toiletries.

We've also bought suitcases from Walgreens! And they sell a lot of candy/snacks, drinks etc. as well. They do have a fab range of stuff, we really like them.

Walgreens Holding own Boots, can't say I am a fan of either. Prefer CVS in USA and buy from Savers in UK.

Be aware that Walgreens can be expensive. My dh paid $4.88 for 24 extra strength acetaminophen (paracetamol) the other week as it was convenient to just nip in there. They would have cost 88c at Wal Mart or $1 at Dollartree. I nearly had a fit!

TBH I'd buy your toiletries here because they're so much cheaper. The only thing we buy in Walgreens usually is moisturiser because we like the different brands. I went to buy a Simple facewash last year and it was $8.99, the own brands weren't much cheaper either. You're better buying here and chucking so you have more space on the way home for shopping

Are there two strengths of Acetominophen in the US?

The standard and only strength here is 500mgm, which is what the extra strength US tablet is?
Just curious!
