Recommendation for Californian road map
As title suggests. Can anyone please recommend a really good Cali Road map. We will have a sat nav but want to have something paper based just incase modern technology fails us( it has been known) We are travelling SF down PCH( or part of) to LA, to San Diego, then Vegas.
Many thanks

I got the Marco Polo California map.
Its 1:800000 and has city maps of LA and San Francisco. It comes with stickers so you can mark your route. Seems good but wonder how long it will take to rip.

This is a source of much amusement in this house, but my husband draws his own maps.. to be fair they are always accurate...Still makes us laugh when he draws one though ;-)
He hates Sat Navs etc so he does his own map in case he needs one.. |

If you sign up for the Visit California tourist guide you get one free. 😁 We used that to plan and downloaded the Navmii app to use over there. I totally recommend the app. Doesn't use your data, works from gps and exactly like a sat nav. It made it so much easier!

Nothing to stop you printing off Google maps and joining them together. I've done it in the past like Daytonababe's hubby. Personally, I prefer AAA maps (great detail) which you can get by post from Stanfords in London:
