Mobile Tell me about Teppan Edo

Hi,

We would like to try a new restaurant next year and are thinking about Teppan Edo. Is this a good choice for 1 TS credit? We have done Coral Reef previously and enjoyed it but want to try somewhere different next time.

We are 4 adults and 2 children, 13 and 12. I have looked on youtube and like the look of the food and it seems to be a really fun experience. We would be looking at visiting evening time and then sticking around for Illuminations.

Those that have visited what are your opinions please? The other I have looked at are the Epcot Italian restaurants.

Thank you for your opinions.

We highly recommend Teppan Edo, it's one of our 2 must do restaurants. The food had always been excellent when we've visited. Some pics from our last visit...

Delicious, can't wait to go again in August 😁🍴 x

We always say we are going to do this every year but not got round to it!

Maybe something to do with the price.

Don't mind paying for good quality food with a nice service though

We are on the dining plan so not paying OOP. I love the look of those pics NikiT thank you. I'm thinking it will be a good choice.
Do you choose what meal you want and the chef cooks it fresh in front of you or is it like a set meal?

Love this place, we have to do it every time (well twice so far) and it's the only place my other half asks for me to book.

You can have prawn, steak, chicken or a combination. Veg, noodles, meat/prawn and rice are all cooked to order in front of you.

I'm probably the only person on here who thinks this (as it's roundly loved) but for me it was the most over rated meal I had on property in the last 2 visits.

It was a good show, but the food really was nothing special. Very bland. If I'd have paid oop I'd have been disappointed.

On ddp it's probably one to try for sure, but, having done it, we won't be going back

You all get the same basics such as rice, veggies, noodles, dipping sauces.

You do get to choose what meat/fish you want and then that gets cooked to order.

Another one that really enjoys Teppan, so much so we're paying OOP for it next year.

You don't get too much choice, other than what meat you like or if you want a veggie option. But the food is really good quality and it's nice having a mini show with dinner.
