Where to stay if using Uber to get around?
We will not be hiring a car so will use Uber for getting to parks (unless there is a shuttle) and occasional trip to the shops. Don't want to stay in a hotel as 3 weeks with a room would drive me mad and DCs get up early and don't settle well in the same room as us. Looking for 2/3 bed apartment/condo/townhouse options.
Where is the best location for this that isn't too pricey? |

We have stayed at Vista Cay and used Uber with no problems, have booked again for November. We were given a 3 bed apartment and it was lovely.
Going to try Blue Tree (2 bed condo) at lake burns vista for first part of holiday and then back to Vista Cay. |

If I were only doing Disney I'd say the Lake Buena Vista area. Cypress Pointe , Grand Villas, Blue Tree, Legacy vacations, Staybridge suites etc.
If doing Universal as well you could do a 2 centre and stay up near US . |

Another vote for Cypress Pointe or Grande Villas. We loved it there.

Lake Buena Vista area I like for more choice within walking distance for restaurant and liquor store and the Winn Dixie supermarket we stayed at Vista Cay last year and the condo was very nice but found the area to be pretty isolated although Publix was close by for supplies as was Walgreen's trying legacy vacations this year at LBV we usually stay at Cypress Pointe or Grandvillas but got Legacy for a great price

I like the Lake Buena Vista area it has loads of earring choices some Walgreens and is handy for Disney Springs. Last year we stayed at the Blue Tree Resort which is handy for everywhere in the area you would be able to walk to several restaurants if you wanted, this year we are going back to the Blue Heron Beach Resort not as many eating places within walking distance but the views over the lake and over to the fireworks means it wins every time to me. It also feels very secure as you need a card to get in to use the lifts.
