Can I get a boat from DTD to GF

Hello we are hoping to book our DD into the BBB at DTD a for a birthday treat next September and then go over to 1900 park fayre for her birthday meal with cinderella.
Rather than driving from one place to another can we drive to DTD and then get a boat over to GF for our evening meal? And if so what is the latest we can get back to DTD by boat?
Just thought it might be a nice added extra instead of being stuck in a car.

No you can't but you could book your daughter into the BBB at magic kingdom which would be closer.

Right ok may have to rethink then, only chose the DTD a one as we weren't intending on having a park day that day, and I had also read that the MK one runs behind by quite a lot which worries me for the dining reservation.
If we do decide to do the MK one can we get a boat to GF?

Yes there is a boat that goes from magic kingdom to the grand floridian (and Polynesian) and back again. It's a lovely ride, nice change from the monorail.

If you park at DTD for BBB you can get a resort bus to GF for your ADR. There's no boat from DTD to MK or any of the other parks.

Either boat or monorail. Are you on resort?

No we are offsite in a villa I'm driving myself mad already with ideas and planning. I'm hoping they do an early night for MNSSHP next year as they did this year (1st of September) in which case I wll have to rethink anyway

You can also park at the resort for an ADR (or pay for valet parking), so if you did BBb at magic kingdom you could park at GF a half hour before your slot, then get the boat or monorail to MK, and then get the boat back after ready for the meal, if you have 14/21 day tickets anyways then it won't cost you anything to get into MK
