Talk Me Into Going On Mako

So I haven't really conquered any of the big coasters in Orlando or one reason or another but I've done Nemesis and Air in Alton Towers. I'm not afraid of upside down parts, or heights, or speed. The Hulk, Dragon Challenge etc don't really make me worry, but for some reason Mako just looks like a step too far for me. I really really want to do it and I know I'll probably love it once I'm on it.

It's not as bad as it looks right?

Your love it yes it's high but it's so smooth plenty of airtime I loved it went on it twice if you have done hulk your do Mako no problem.

I love roller casters but not to keen on this ride, done it in July when we were there, I prefer over the shoulder restraints, I felt like I was going to fall out although I know I wouldn't have, we are going back next year so will see if I go back in or not😁

Its the tallest fastest coaster in Orlando. Its pure speed and airtime, its my favourite coaster in Florida.
2/3 the way up the lift hill you'll wonder if you've done the right thing, but once over the top you'll love it and as soon as you get off you'll want to ride again.

This terrified me as it is massive! That 1st drop is immense. Nothing in Orlando compares, it's the best by miles and so scary but I am glad I did it.

I love it, so smooth but exciting. I spent alot of time literally flying out of my seat but never felt unsafe with the lap restraint. I'd have ridden it again and again. I would say it was closer to air and nemesis (with a bit of the big one at Blackpool) than anything else I have ridden in orlando.

It was my 10 year old a favourite ride of the holiday (I'm too chicken for big coasters). He went on 3 times as there was a very short queue.

It's awful, but I hated the hulk too, I'd say if your fine with the hulk you'll be fine with mako, but whyyyyyyyyyy? It's awful, they are all awful! Give me soarin any day over these mental rides lol

It looks a lot like Shambhala the one in Salou Spain at PortAventura
Did that one 2 years ago and loved it

Very smooth and you feel very safe - the airtime is incredible. Nothing else like it

(to the poster above - Air at Alton Towers is very similar to Manta, or it was until they put those silly headsets on Air. Nemesis is very good but Montu is similar and better imo)
