OOh - that’s interesting. I think if the deposit was as small as the wdw holidays (I think we put £100 down for this years holiday) I wouldn’t feel so anxious about it - I’d have plenty of time to get used to the idea before paying the balance.
So if by booking through DCL, if I was able to get some of the deposit back if I had a ‘we have made a mistake’ freak out - the likelihood would be that I’d feel happier booking and the freak out would never happen! Do you think I would be able to find that info on the website?

Just found this - so wouldn’t that mean that if we cancelled at 120 days of earlier we would be able to request a full refund?

Good plan 😃
I don’t know why, it knowing that I can back out and not lose hundreds of pounds does make me feel less anxious!

Thats why we booked it. I have no idea if we can afford it at the moment as self employed but don't want to miss the best price as they only go up

Never book a cruise through a UK TA.
Either book through Disney or a US TA. We used Travel on a Dream. Deb was amazing, so helpful and informative. And as a bonus, we would have got all our money back if we'd had to cancel, and no extra charges. Plus, we got on board credit. We did the Med cruise as first time cruisers and totally fell in love with DCL. My trip report is linked in my signature if you want to read it. Would have loved to do Norway but it was much more expensive.

Be assured, there is no way you wouldn't enjoy this cruise! We went in May 2016. Not sure of your family set up but we have a then 8 year old daughter who had the time of her life also. The scenery was out of this world and the temperature which was expected to be near freezing, was something like 20 degrees and we were swimming :-) Let me know if you wanted to know any further...

We are just a couple, no kids.
Tell me as much as you want! The more the better in my eyes!
