Mobile Disney Meal Plan

I've just booked to go to Disneyland Paris for 5 days in November. I've not been for about 20 years!

I'm just wondering is the meal plan worth it?

It depends on where you prefer to eat. It totally suits my family, love buffets and I think if I can't afford lots of spending money then at least some meals are covered (we do half board). For my brother and his family no, his children don't eat enough so waste a lot of food.

The dining plan is much more complicated than WDW. It depends on which hotel you are staying at. You don’t get choice from the full menu. It is three courses with a few choices at each course and a soft drink, or one full buffet and a drink at your level. They give the level That fits your hotel restaurant. If you want to eat off the specific menu or eat on a place that higher than yours you can use the voucher at face value. We have done it a couple of times but usually don’t.

You can actually purchase 'up' to any level of dining plan, you just can't choose to buy one that Disneyland Paris deems to be below your hotel level. I figure that's because your dining plan, when purchased, includes hotel breakfast, at your hotel.

You can buy a premium plan staying in any hotel, or plus plan staying in any hotel other than Disneyland hotel, basically. But the Standard can only be bought for Santa Fe & Cheyenne.

I hope that makes sense. Xx

I like the plus plan which includes the majority of buffet & table service restaurants. I have free dining this year but I have also paid to have the dining plan. Prices are expensive for a meal so I like the payment up front so I don't have to think about the cost while I'm there.
I suggest going on the Disneyland Paris website to check out menus to see if you fancy table service or buffet. Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood are not included in the dining plan so if you fancy these maybe don't have the plan.

It really depends on where you want to eat, what you want to do for breakfast, and where you’re staying. For each of our holidays, I’ve priced up paying as we go at the places we wanted to eat.

First holiday, staying in Cheyenne, wanting buffets, standard half board worked out cheaper than paying OOP, so we got the meal plan.
Second holiday, staying in the DLH, and wanting character dining, premium half board worked out best, so that’s what we got.
This holiday, staying in Santa Fe, it works out best to take our own breakfasts and snack packs, and pay OOP for one restaurant a day, so we’re not getting a meal plan.
