Avis Ford Fusion or similar

Hi everyone. We have hired a large car through Avis via BA again this year.
This time our booking states a Ford Fusion or similar but on the App it states a Chevy Malibu or similar.
I quite like the look of both of these cars, there's only 3 of us so the size is fine. Just wondering if we will get 3 large suitcases in the boot, as we are travelling up from miami it would be nice to get them all hidden away, no big deal if we cant though, we had a Nissan Maxima last time which was great but couldnt quite squeeze the 3 cases in.
Also what other "similar" cars have you guys had?

We had a ford fusion last year. we were a party of 4 and had 3 mid size suitcases 1 larger suitcase and a big holdall full of disney stuffed toys in the "trunk"
the cases were visable they would not fit under the boot cover but they did fit in!

A Fusion is a UK Mondeo, so will have a far size trunk/boot.

I�ve got the new Mondeo, all be it the hatchback version and the boot is huuuge. I�d imagine the US fusions will be saloons so you�ll be restricted by the rear window in terms of height to stack cases but the boot length should be the same.

I'm intersted in how the cars match up as we have a booking with avis via ba and it says Group D - Buick Verano or similar. but i can't see group d on the avis us website

Possible Avis cars in the fleet. Class D might get a Class C or Class E.

Class C: Intermediate
Avis Example: Chevrolet Cruze
Dodge Avenger
Hyundai Elantra (Port St, San Fran... 2 line report here)
Kia Forte
Nissan Sentra
Subaru Impreza
Toyota Corolla
Volkswagen Jetta

Class D: Standard Size
Avis Example: Buick Verano
Chrysler 200 (No experience on this lately. It might mimic Hertz & be full size now)

Class E: Full Size
Avis Example: Ford Fusion
Chevrolet Malibu
Hyundai Sonata
Kia Optima
Mazda 6
Mitsubishi Galant
Nissan Altima
Toyota Camry
VW Passat
