Virgin Car Hire

Ive just asked Virgin if I can upgrade our insurance to the top package, but was told our car class...

"will be defaulted to Toyota RAV4 of similar instead of Nissan Rogue"

Does this make a difference? I know last time we went we were just shown a line of cars and told to pick one.

Hi. No difference whatsoever. Virgin has no say over what car you pick. All Alamo care is you take from the row that is the class you have paid for.

You might want to check prices first. We'd originally got the basic 'free' VH hire car - not even the 'upgrade' to a RAV4 and paid £553 extra for the gold insurance. After some helpful dibbers gace me advice, I went to DFCH Andy and now have a convertible mustang (or similar) for only £200 more for three weeks with full insurance.
