I only ask as we have a Royal Guest Room booked at POR (all they had left) but for £28 more, I could get a studio at SSR and obviously get the full DDP rather than QSDP. Only problem being, I don't know what my DD will think of having to sleep on a sofa bed for 2 weeks.

They both said it was fine. Had read that you can request a mattress topper from reception/Carriage House but they didn't need that. We did leave the sofa bed down the whole time. £28 is a bargain to get the full DDP. Have a great time, whatever you decide.

I've read this over the last couple of evenings. I've really enjoyed seeing all the great places you've eaten. I think Yak and Yeti and Chef Art Smith's will make it on to the list for our next trip. Saratoga Springs looks lovely. It's a shame that as a family of 5 it works out so much more expensive than OKW.

Great food report. Many thanks for sharing. We are staying at SSR for 1st time and when we had a look around last year thought the Paddock would suit us. We loved Yak & Yeti too and also couldn't believe we hadn't eaten there before. Trying to persuade my other half to add Art Smith's to this years plan!
