Another option would be to take a break from the DIBB until at least the bathroom is completely finished. Think of the brownie points you would get if she came home and it was finally done

I can't believe the vast majority have voted for option 3. As MH says, it's clearly better to do a good job rather than a rushed job. And to do a good job requires considerable consideration and careful planning. If MH's wife really wants to rush these jobs, then surely she's able to pick up some tools and do a bodge job on the decorating or finishing the bathroom? I mean, we don't live in the 19th century any more!

I voted Divorce - the poor woman needs the freedom to find 'an man who can' (and who does)!

I guess it depends on how long you actually do take to do a job. My DH took 13 years to put up pretty tiles we bought in Spain as a name plate for our house. He seemed to think this was perfectly acceptable and expected praise when he finally did the job 😀.

We have been married 32 years, I would divorce him but I'm too lazy 😁

I voted 4 as that is what my DH says 😀

haha - we moved in in 1993, DH is still deciding on what wallpaper to put up in the hall. As for the original grey kitchen - it has become fashionable - TWICE - in that time. Still, we have had some nice holidays.
