rough time we might arrive at disney?
Hey everyone
 I'm just working out my itinerary and trip plans. This trip is a little different for us as it's our first time on property and using the magic express etc. We are flying Thomas cook and land at MCO at 16.50 local time. Factoring in collecting luggage and getting to the magical express, does anyone know what time roughly I should expect to arrive at check in at all star resorts? Thanks in advance! |

Last year we arrived at about the same time with Thomas cook, we booked seats at row 15 and we had our bags ready to go as soon as we could so was about 5th off the plane. When we arrived in immigration there was one plane load of passengers ahead of us... it was a very long wait. It took about 1hr 45 mins in total. Luggage was there immediately by then. We waited on the magical express bus for about 30 mins to leave and we were the 5th hotel ( and last to be dropped off) so took about another 1hr 30 from leaving. Checkin was super quick but by the time we got to the room it was about 9 pm. 4 hrs after landing! ( 2am uk time) Other times it has taken as little as 90 mins. We’ve booked again for next year similar arrival time but hoping for less of a wait when we get there!

I'd say allow between and hour and 90 minutes for immigration, collecting cases and getting to magical express. Then between 40 - 60 minutes before you are dropped at resort , depending on if you are first or last drop off.

There are so many factors in this.
- Take off time. Is the flight on time or a small delay. - Immigration can be anywhere between 10 minutes to 3 hours. - Queue for the magical express can be 10 minutes to an hour. - Journey depends on if you are the first or last stop. Aim for an arrival somewhere between 19:00 and 21:00, which is realistic.
