Did you ever go to the American Adventure near Derby? It's the only one I can think of missing from your list. I loved it there!

No I didn't :-( Its not even that far from me .I never made it to Crinkly Bottom either ! Never done LEGOLAND either here or in the States, which is the obvious omission - though we did get married at Cypress Gardens which did have a theme park there we went on .There are others that call themselves theme parks (some mentioned by others in this thread ) but don't really compare I don't think to the others. I haven't included Pleasure Island at Cleethorpes in my list for example .
I haven't set out to do so many , it has just kind of happened that while we were in an area , it was an obvious thing to do . The one that is in that "almost a theme park but mainly just big concrete permanent fairs" " list that I have never got round to doing , though we go there most years ( indeed were there only last weekend ) is Fantasy Island at Skegness got the one near Benidorm to tick off this summer . Need to go back to Salou to get Ferrariland done as well

I have also been to Drayton manor, American Adventure, a theme park in Pembrokshire (sorry cant remember name). I rode the traumatiser at Southport (as well as others), which is now infudsion in Blackpool in the UK. Busch Gardens Williamsburg, A park near Sturrbridge New England which i think is now a six flags, Knotts berry Farm, Disneyland and six flags near LA - though I was really poorly and didnt actually make it on to anyrides - all I remember is Superman returns being built) (the Ca parks all 20 years ago so cant remember). Do the rides in Vegas in count? I have been on bigshot and the old rollercoaster up the Stratopshoere, NYNY coaster and the coaster that was in the Sahara. Did Sea world San Diego have any rides - again? Also 20+ years ago I went to Phantasialand. We have also ridden the cyclone and big wheel at Coney Island.
Also does Olympia looping count? riden it twice at Oktoberfest, once in Dusseldorf and twice at winter wonderland. I have also been to Hull fair and Nottingham goose fair many times lol - trying to get to 30 and failing lol Must be in the mid 20's though if things like Vegas and Coney Island count. |
