Its a shame you felt that way about Nashville. Sometimes you just cant help the way you feel about a city as much as you want to like it. We felt a bit like this with Barcelona, so many friends told me that we would fall in love with the place but we came away feeling a bit underwhelmed. Couldn't quite put our finger on it!
Lovely hotel in New Orleans, my parents went last May for my cousins wedding and had a brilliant time

I hate those travel days where you are stressed and bickering. Sorry you had one. Looking forward to reading on to NOLA based on your comments

Yes, we were underwhelmed, maybe because we'd had so many amazing experiences before we got there... It had a lot to compete with !

A travel day never quite hits the mark especially when your clock watching. I'm dying to hear more about New Orleans. The hotel looks great, perfect complimentary cocktail and relaxing in the bar-ends the day on a high😊

Bit of a mixed bag with the travelling today. I hate city parking even in the UK, so I feel you pain trying to park in a foreign country! Glad it got better though, with a good transfer in New Orleans. Hotel looks fab.

Yes I do wonder tho if we had done the Hall of Fame if we would have felt differently -live and learn as they say . What can I say about NO and that hotel - so good we went straight back

I think our overall grumpiness just made even the simple task of parking a nightmare Day did end well tho !
