It's not too bad really if you're used to walking. The city is quite small, compared to other US cities. We loved it, but perhaps we underestimated the coldness. I hope you have a fab trip. Spring would be a great time to visit.

It was pretty chilly and it was fun to have some snow are haven't had any this winter at home. I'm not sure I'm in such a hurry to go somewhere cold again though.

Wow, that’s some stamina you all have! I’m seriously impressed.

We never made it across to the USS Constitution Museum because we got too cold and that was in early October.

Love the Freedom Trail though, so this brings back lovely memories of our trip there.

It was great doing the freedom trail. I think we would have frozen solid if we'd stayed still so we had no choice but to keep moving!

Great day, but omg those toilets sound scary! The pics of your son make me smile, exactly the same as my DS14, does not want his pictures taken at all, hopefully it will pass for us both lol

The diner was worth it as the food was fab, I think we're just so used to perfectly pristine restrooms in the USA that we were all shocked by these. I've been in worse lavatories (French motorways back in the 80s really only had holes in the ground).

Hopefully both our boys will become more comfortable in their own skin. He can't stand still and it doesn't seem to matter what we say about just having a normal face and not trying to smile he always seems to look like he is scowling.

Oh it looked sooooo cold, but fascinating stuff on that trail. We would love that ( the oldies, not the teens). I would be totally the same near that frozen water ! How did no one fall over ? Were the pavements not slippy like over here ?
Did lol at creepy loos. That can't be H&S OK to go through the kitchen !

Dinner sounded nice, not surprised you were all shattered with early start and all that walking. Fab day tho.

It was cold. No two ways about it, it looked as cold as it was. The freedom trail was really interesting.

The paths were all clear, really good. I think it was a dry cold not a damp/wet cold...So there wasn't really much frost around. All the pavements were gritted and we didn't have problems walking around. I guess they are much better prepared than we are.

The diner was fab, I wish we'd had a chance to go back. The toilets were just bizarre. Totally unlike all the other American restrooms we have been to and much more like the dodgy European loos we've suffered!
