If you haven't already done so, go on to Cruisecritic forum for more tips and advice. Happy planning
Hi Jude!

What date did you book?
We too are booked with MSC sailing from Barcelona, on MSC Meraviglia which looks to be a fabulous almost new ship!
We sailed our very first cruise last year with MSC on the Divina from Miami around the Caribbean and it got us hooked.
The Divina was a beautifully presented ship and it was all so lovely nothing really to complain about so much so we have happily booked with MSC again
We are going in 2 weeks on a cruise with RCCL and only hope it is as nice!

Yes I am on cruisecritic! and like you say - lots of tips and advice!

We are booked 17th - 24th Jan. A bit worried about the flight time back though as it's 10.30am. The TA assured me that it's enough time to disembark and it's only 20 mins to the airport by private transfer that they've booked for us. Really looking forward to it. So hard not telling hubby about it though. Think I'll spill the beans after Easter or if I can hold out - keep it until Fathers Day! What date do you go?

Oh what a lovely surprise for him!
I take it you're on the Meraviglia too then? Beautiful looking ship. And I can vouch for the cocktails on MSC, they are wonderful.

Ahh, we get on as you get off, we sail on the 24th.

The only slight concern I have is that I imagine it will be a very mediterranean/Italian passenger count, not knowing Italian , but I'm sure announcements etc will be in English too. .
On the MSC ship out of Miami on our last cruise it was mainly American passengers so English was used primarily.
It will be interesting to see the differences.
