AVIS windscreen crack, here now

I have a Ford Edge, very good vehicle, but on Sunday the windscreen cracked whilst on the drive.
I've called AVIS to report it and they've left it to me if I want to continue driving it.
I was happy but now the crack is growing, it's double the length it was (1ft to 2ft).
I'm at Four Corners, rather not go to the airport, anyone know an AVIS office closer that I can swap the car?
Looked on Google Maps but some could be just hotel outlets.

You have : 5770 W Irlo Bronson Hwy, Old Town Amusement Park, Kissimmee 34747 (407 465 0257) or 1621 North John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee Korners 34741 (407 343 6094) looks to be further out on the 192 just NE of Kissimmee Airport. Hope this helps.

Thanks Prugone, AVIS couldn't confirm if these locations had available cars, they suggested I go to the airport.
Other than the 40mins each way, the swap was simple. AVIS were very helpful and gave me an upgrade from the Edge to an Explorer.

Out of interest did they mention anything about insurance and excesses?

I had a similar problem with a bolt in a tyre and had to drive to the airport to swap over our Chrysler 300 for a Crown Victoria which although was in the same class was rubbish.
It had a leather sofa as the front seat, one big bench tha sat 3 people.

avis are in the hylton opposite disney springs but again may not have the car you need

Hi for anyone else in the future I swapped my car out last year at the old town branch as there was a recall on the brakes and they only keep a small amount of stock

I ended up with something that looked like a big Jag which was heavy to drive after the lovely Ford Edge I had as it was that or driving back to the airport

There is also an Avis branch in the Embassy suites on idrive but again not much to choose from.

I'm not sure Manny, I filled in a form and it gets sent off. Didn't want to worry about it mid holiday, so will see what happens.

The exact same thing for me. Signed a document and I never paid a thing, they just did a straight swap.

Quick update, had a pending cc charge of £213, but no invoice. Waited a few days and it's gone, still no invoice but assuming I'm in the clear.
I still have the Sunpass charges to expect in a few weeks.
