Disney Cruise Line VIP!

I would look at two Cat 8As if they are available. I say if, as they are one of the first categories to be booked each time.
I would certainly not book 1 room for 4 adults and a child, even for 3 nights. It's not just about sleeping space, it's the ability to move around, get ready and go to the bathroom. I would definitely book 2 rooms and whether they are 2 insides or 2 oceanviews is up to you. With the connecting door open, it'd be like a 2 room suite anyway .. 2 lots of storage, 2 bathrooms and, most importantly, privacy! Have you had a read of the 'everything you need to know about DCL' sticky thread at the top? Have a read if not, it will help answer your basic questions. On a 3 night cruise, I wouldn't book any excursions through DCL. For Nassau, just bimble off the ship then come back for lunch! For Castaway Cay, just go to the beach and laze. Walk to the look out point or go to Serenity Bay (adults only) if your 6yo goes to the childrens club (they move from the ship to the island on that day). A 3 night cruise will happen so quickly, it's important not to book too much (or anything!) - honestly. Just enjoy the ship, go to the main restaurants each night and relax. Joa

We are waiting to book a 4night cruise for next year & don't plan on booking anything. We'll enjoy the ship, the free activities, the pool/aquaduck, evening shows, restaurants & hope to spend some time relaxing. We'll pre-pay tips and with the exception of a couple of small souvenirs on board & more than likely a trip to Vanellopes I don't intend to spend anything
We'll be spending 10days in Walt Disney World first & hoping the cruise will help us come home without feeling the need for a holiday to get over the holiday! |
