We were on the A380both ways.

Seats in economy were fine, comfy good legroom(I’m just 6ft) inflight entertainment and food and drink as expected for plane.

Waited for seats at 24hr checking in, BA allocated the 3 of us seats on both Manchester and Heathrow flights together so didn’t change them but you can online if wanted.

Both ways we checked bags in and never saw them again until our destination.

Would do flights again at the right price

Once at Miami our plan is to drive straight up to orlando. Which route would you suggest (we land Miami at 2.30pm so hoping to be out and avoid the worst traffic)! Any suggestions for a pit stop on the way up? The other half was hoping to stop at a trader joes or similar to stock up on his holiday beverages ha!
Hi, hope your having a great holiday. We are doing exactly the same route and timings in August. How did you find the connections and any tips/advise. 😁

Great information Dave, Can I ask. This is our 2nd time flying into Miami with BA on a fly drive... we have Avis preferred, and I've added our up to date credit card details to the Avis account. Do we bypass the main desks (where all the different car hire desks are) and go straight down in the lift to where the actual cars are (presume this is the garage) and see our names on the board and just go straight to the bay that's on the board? Do we need to go to the little Avis desk in the garage first?

It was my first time with Avis and I joined the Prefered. I went straight to garage and board had my name on but as it was my first rental I needed to go the booth in the garage. Was only there a few minutes. No hard sell etc.
I would say If your name is on the board with a bay number then just collect and show papers at exit kiosk.
