How to pay for fuel?

Yep we always pay cash inside as well before we pump. It's sometimes hard to judge how much it will cost but if you don't spend what you pay (i.e you pay for $30 but can only end up fitting $22 in the tank) then you just go back in and ask for the change and they will happily give you it back. I usually only send DH back in though if it's more than a few dollars as i can't be bothered other wise haha

I go in and give $20 while Dh fills and then I can take any change that there is.

My card was cloned at a petrol station back in 2008 (2nd day of holiday) they cleared my entire account and overdraft.. but got my money back within the hour..

Always use cash for small purchases as its just not worth the hassle using your card for things like this.

after all, if the pump malfunctionned and you pumped 10c above what you had preppaid and you left, the guy at the pump would probably chase you with a double barrel pump action shotgun

Last time I got fuel At Walmart southern dunes I just pulled up, filled up and then paid inside the small kiosk. Not sure why it’s any different than other stations

I usually send my husband in with cash, he paid $30 , i filled up with $26 he was to hot/tired to go in and get the $4 ... I went in wasn't gonna leave $4 lol
