2 weeks tomorrow..had to cancel today
Last night my lovely husband had a heart attack..he's in ICU but doing well and I hope being in the right place he'll be fine.We are gutted we've had to cancel but the Dr said today that no way we can go..I know it's just a holiday and health comes first but it still hurts.This has been the most awful year so far as Robs Mum's funeral was 4 weeks ago too..it's a good job we don't know what's around the corner.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dh illness-hope he recovers well asap,as you say he is in the best place.totally understand being upset about the holiday as it sounds like you both needed the break.hopefully when he is on the road to recovery you can look forward to another trip.take care of yourself

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that.
Thanks goodness he's ok. My Dad had a heart attack a few years back and there would have been no way he would have been fit for a Disney holiday. It wiped him out more than he expected. He's fantastic now, especially as it caused him to quit smoking and make healthier life choices in general. Hopefully they can rearrange some things for you to go away a little later in the year. Best of luck x |
