Totally crap thing to happen, it really hits hard when someone you love has this happen to them.

Our thoughts are with you and the family and wish a speedy recovery.

Being together and getting the right treatment is what is needed now so put Florida to one side and just enjoy each other, Florida will be there later on (and all those new lands will be open then too)...

What a total shock for you!

The main thing is that hopefully your husband will be ok. It's so cruel though, with it being so close to your holiday. Good job it didn't happen while you was on holiday.
