Mobile ? Europcar

Just reserved an SUV with Europcar for 3 weeks over Christmas for £525 (pick up from Advantage)everyone else over £800 and some £1200 but the reviews don’t seem great to put it nicely. Has anyone had a good experience?

I don't want to worry you but I've always avoided Europcar/Advantage because of the bad reviews. If your deal is cancellable I'd be keeping my eyes open for better deals with the likes of Alamo. Good luck whatever you do😁

Thanks i can cancel it only a small deposit paid but nearly £300 cheaper than the rest . I’m checking regularly as still a long time to go ,used dollar Alamo and hertz in the past but finding it hard to justify spending that much extra !

The company Advantage has been chucked around from a small bankrupt individual company to part of Hertz to being owned by a Canadian Holdinv company.
Reviews are mixed.
Not for me but other's will have found ok.
Enjoy.

It might be worth buying an excess protection policy to cover you for glass, tyres undercarriage, lost keys etc from money maxim. You may find that glass is covered under CDW in the USA and that its just generic wording that covers europecar in Europe but if it was me I would go in with belt and braces approuch.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
