I googled the costs from his quote as he had the part numbers in there, and that's about right actually.

So that leaves about £400 for labour for 2 guys, misc parts, disposal, overheads etc. Doesn't sound too unreasonable?

Plus, I need it ASAP - can't be too fussy unfortunately. Getting it fitted next week is worth extra to me. He probably realises that!

Labour price sounds spot on to me. I would be happy with that quote.

mine was only a rough calculation, not sure it will take 2 guys 2 days ( i certainly know it wouldnt take me that long with a helper ) BUT you are right, its not a bad price to be fair

You will need plastering done inside as well. Is this in the quote.
