a group of us went to blackpool for a lads week after our O levels so all @16
spent the week trying to get into pubs & clubs, getting stupid drunk and failing spectacularly to get off with girls, mainly welsh & scotttish for some reason :-). can remember all 6 of us stayed in a rotten 'flat' (think Richie & Eddies in Bottom) that was £18 yes £18 for the week all in... First trip abroad was a year later so 17 by then to Magaluf & was pretty similar to the above apart from slightly less rancid accommodation.. Edited at 08:19 AM. |

Oh dear, I remember this one
I was 16 and went with my best friend and my sister and her boyfriend It was Hotel San Diego in Salou, I didn’t see my sister or her boyfriend for the whole holiday so we just ran a bit wild All I remember is Crocs nightclub, tequila slammers and a lot of vomit Was a great holiday though |

I was 14 and went to Benidorm with my friend and her family.
Without "adults", I was 19 and went with 4 female friends to Benidorm. My first ever holiday was when I was 6 and we stayed in a caravan park somewhere in Kent. First holiday abroad was to Menorca when I was 7!

mine was when I was 17 (turned 18 whilst there) and it was to Zante long before it became popular as it is now . We went in the June , back in October and again the next year ! It was nice as they didn't have that many tourists and they remembered us at restaurants etc!

That would be my first trip to Disney World with my husband (then boyfriend) at 21 years of age. First time on a plane too

I had various school trips without my parents from age 11 onwards but my first holiday without any kind of adult supervision was Ibiza for 2 weeks when I was 17 - there were 4 of us, 2 guys and 2 girls (no couples just friends) and we had the best time! It was just before the euro so we were still on peseta and everything was cheap as chips

Did a couple of stay-with-a-French-family trips with school when I was about 14 or 15. I hated it so I don't know why I did a second one!
As for proper holidays, a group of 5 of us went on a holiday to somewhere in Spain (don't remember where) after our A-Levels finished. I was there for my 18th birthday. We were there for either 10 or 14 nights, forget which. It was too long anyway! If you've ever seen the Inbetweeners movie, it was exactly as bad as that.

I had just turned 17 a few weeks before and went on a girls holiday to Bodrum in Turkey! It was ahem... more than a little wild!
We made some great groups of friends and had many reunions up and down the country when we returned. Definitely a holiday to remember forever |
