Virgin flight locator number
Morning.
Our flight locator number is due to be released on Tuesday so we can book our seats with virgin. Does anyone have any idea what time this happens? We want to try and get into the bubble. |

Why don't you put a request on the "Is my flight full" thread and that might give you an indication if there are any available seats in the Bubble. I have found it really useful for my upcoming trip to Toronto.

Bubble seats always appear as "blocked" on Virgin so that won't give you any indication. Presumably because you have to pay extra for them?
How far away is your flight hazelandannie?

I was referring to economy - for example on one of my flights the bubble was wide open according to the Virgin seat map, but "blocked" according to this. Any reason for this? I presumed it was as you have to pay extra for them, similar to Eco delight which seem to be always blocked too?

The system I use to check the flights doesn't indicate whether seats are Light, Classic or Delight - it just shows a seat map. Upper Deck PE and EC are popular seats onboard - I don't know why there is a differential between Virgin and seat availability sites in certain cases. Your suggestion that it may be linked to paying for seats could be very relevant.
Fairly recently I have noticed an odd unoccupied seat in both cabins in the Bubble but it is just a snapshot of what is available at the date and times and can and does change by the minute. Edited at 12:13 PM. |
