I had to Google the dessert in question as the calories sounded mad, a pint of Ben and Jerry’s is “only” 1080 calories so I thought there was no way 😅 One of the first results is a photo with five spoons in it, so I assume you’re meant to share- 542 calories is still decadent but significantly less than your entire day’s consumption!

I actually quite like how the calories are displayed on menus sometimes, it has helped steer me towards lower calorie options on various occasions!

For example - I enjoy drinking cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas. Knowing the calories in each of these drinks makes me lean towards cappuccinos, but I will still have a mocha on occasion if I really want one!

That's because after a few they're hoping you'll order more food because you can't read the calorie content and booze makes you hungry...or so I'm told
