Microwave meal recommendations!

During our kitchen refurb we are on a lot of sandwiches and a few ready meals.

Having just eaten a tasty but extremely oily M&s spag bol, does anyone have any recommendations for good microwave meals from a supermarket!? Reviews online are very mixed!

We have been getting the Morrisons frozen calorie counted ready meals to try and have something quick at lunch times.

I like the spaghetti bol, chilli con carne and chicken hotpot.

I don’t have for suggestions ready meals but have you thought about using a slow cooker? We cooked everything in our slow cooker during our refurb.👍🏻

Garlic bread slices you can pick up from a supermarket work lovely in the toaster
I’m using a hob, so I’m able to do my own spag bol etc, but I can’t always be bothered as the room needs clearing of dust before I could sort food in it.
Beans on toast? Pre done baked potatoes?

I have one, and may do something next week. Don't do much in it tbh so not sure. Not in mood for stew, plus can't brown anything off.

OP do you have a George Forman (or similar) grill? When we were without a functioning kitchen for 3 months (don’t ask but thankfully pre-pandemic) I found that there were lots of meals I could create between the microwave, the toaster, the kettle and the Forman Grill and slow/rice cooker. If it has to be a ready meal we like Waitrose ones, but a toastabag cheese toastie and a soup, or vegetable rice and grilled chicken or salmon steaks worked well too. Good luck with your new kitchen.
