Pancakes and syrup, go on then!

Scrolled past all the threads, until this one, and immediately thought oooo, must see this!

I love american style pancakes, streaky bacon, and syrup….
And in New York they add a fried egg, very strange but tasted great! Have also had it with fried banana, also good.

I like a pancake, loads of streaky bacon with scrambled egg on the side, I pour the syrup on after the bacon and eggs are eaten because I’m not a animal!

Aldi have been selling them, 1.39 for 6. Have to say, they are yummy (I heat them up in the microwave)

So easy to make at home, I use this recipe, you can make it ahead and store in the fridge. They are so good!

Edited to add, use butter, not olive oil, and no need to add any to the mix, I just use some to fry them in. I also add a dash of vanilla extract.
