The new Tom Kerridge Fish and Chip shop in Harrods is apparently charging £35.00 for fish and chips, bargain !

Our local Chippy prices in Northumberland. I remember when a bag of chips cost 16p! What does everyone call the spare bits of batter that is left in the fryer... do you even ask for any on your chips? They were called scrantions-no idea if that is actually a word or spelling is anywhere near correct!-when I was little but the chip shop in Liverpool didn’t have a clue what I meant when I moved there...
