What's the first (& second) ride you head for in each park?

First post, but long-time lurker on these boards - finally planning our first trip for August 2022! Two adults and two girls aged 10 and 7.
I've got so much good advice from here and the excitement is definitely beginning to build!

My question is - for each park (the four main Disney parks, plus Universal S and IoA), what is the first (& the second) ride you head to when you get in? We are staying off site so won't have the advantage of EMH, but will aim to be at each park for opening time.
(If your answer is different with/without fastpasses then please give both! Apologies if that's a stupid question but I haven't quite got my head around the FPs as yet!).

AK - Flights of Passage and then either Kili Safari or Expedition Everest. Pre-Pandora it was the safari and Everest
MK - we usually just head to Tomorrowland first and do Space Mountain… after that it’s breakfast and whatever we feel like
Epcot - Frozen and then whatever we feel like
HS - I expect we’ll head straight to Galaxy’s Edge to have an explore and do Smuggler’s Run next time (obvs ROTR if we get on), but in the past have often gone for Rock n Rollercoaster and then something like Muppets 3D as hubby LOVES it
Islands of Adventure - straight to Hogwarts
Universal - straight to Diagon Alley

I don't do Universal, but for Disney...

MK:
I always do the left side of the park first as most people head back into Fantasyland. So Jungle Cruise and then Pirates. This probably won't change, as these are two of my favourite rides. But sometimes I'll FP JC for around the time I'll want a dole whip so in that instance, I might start at Haunted Mansion instead.

AK:
Navi and then safari, can usually get both done before the first people are out of the FOP queue.

I don't ride FOP but that would be one to try and get a FP for, especially from offsite since onsite will fill the rope drop queue pretty quickly.

Epcot:
Soarin' and then Spaceship Earth. I would FP Frozen for later in the day once the rest of World Showcase was open.

I don't really like Test Track but if I wanted to ride it, that's where I would head first if I was rope dropping since it gets the longest queues. Even when FPing, it goes down a lot due to weather so it's definitely one to try and get done early.

HS:
I don't like the rides here, so pass

Although FP will change because it looks like you have to take the next available return time with Genie+ rather than being able to choose your time.

If I'm rope dropping and trying to get on a ride before everyone else:
MK: 7DMT or Peter Pan
Epcot: Test Track or Soarin or Frozen
DHS: With the new additions probably Slinky Dog Ride or the Star Wars rides
AK: Flight of Passage
Universal: Gringotts
IoA: Hagrid's ride

If it wasn't a case of trying to get on a ride before everyone else and I was just heading for the ride I like best or just want to ride first in the parks:
MK: no real preference, I'm happy enough to soak in the atmosphere here! So am happy to start with almost any ride here
Epcot: Soarin
DHS: Toy Story Midway Mania
AK: Kilimanjaro Safaris
Universal: Gringotts
IoA: Hagrid's or Forbidden Journey

Ooo ok…
Well welcome to posting! We are going in August too.

MK- 7DMT and Peter Pan (or Small World) are the ones we have to do out of tradition…

EPCOT- Soarin’ - love it love it and probably Test Track when it’s not broken down

HS- Haven’t done any of the new Star Wars yet but do love Slinky Dog- back row lol

AK… my all time favourite, if I could only choose one ride ever it would be Flight of Passage
and Everest for 2nd choice

Universal - Head to Harry Potter stuff

IoA- transformers
( or do I have those parks the wrong way around?)

We don't always do the same first/second ride in each park as often we will be at each park more than once, sometimes heading left, sometimes right. I'll tell what I'd do next trip
MK Splash then BTMR
Epcot Soarin then Test Track
HS Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway then Smugglers Run (never done these as our last trip was 2019, we always did Tower of Terror and then RnR)
AK FOP then Everest
Universal Gringots then Mummy
IOA Hulk then Forbidden Journey

Edited...totally forgot about the new velocicoaster and Hagrids at IOA I'd do them first!

Any park
1st ride: the one with the shortest queue
2nd ride: the one with the shortest queue

I'm easily pleased and will ride anything!
