Aren't you too old for Disney?

Whilst at work on Saturday, one of the regular customers came in and as we were talking I told him about my upcoming holiday this week. He asked where I was going and when I told him he said, aren't you too old for Disney, surely you should consider a more "grown up" holiday.

I told him to say that to my dad, who will be turning 58 the day we fly and he has no intentions to stop going to Florida for a more "grown up" holiday.

People are so rude!

I don't understand why someone thinks they get an opinion on how you spend your money/ where you choose to take your holiday.

I agree! The other week I had a blazing row with someone who told me this. Ironically this idiot is apparently taking his children to WDW as that's the age group it is for! Moron might get a shock when he gets there!

You should have told him about Richard Gerth. Now that is quite an age and still working at Disney.

Richard, who is 91-years old and the Official Greeter at the Grand Floridian, has been a Cast Member since 1991.

Oh wow, that's amazing. Disney certainly has no age limits. I will be sure to tell him when I see him on my return!

Ha ha. Every 6 months I go to my GP for my blood pressure tablets. I have to remind him to write the prescription as all he wants to do is talk about Florida.

This is a conversation I have regularly with my friends... I have now told them in no uncertain terms that I don't judge their holiday choices so don't judge mine. To be fair these comments always seem to come from people who haven't been... I just quietly feel sorry for them as they really have no idea what they are missing out on!
