Playstation 5 problem
DS's PS5 (bought in August) has stopped working - when you turn it on the logo comes up then it just stops on a black screen.
Are there any experts out there that might know how to fix it or had this happen to them? Thanks |

It might be that the video resolution the PS5 is outputting is too high for the display that it is connected to. This can happen if you change the monitor you are using to a different one. The PS5 could be set to output 4K video but you change it to a monitor that has a lower capability so cannot display it... hence a black screen. It is possible that the PS5 is not automatically switching its resolution to match the new screen. If this is the case then there is probably a method to reboot the PS5 into some kind of safe mode (like a PC) and alter the resolution manually and restore the picture.
