Sky FAILED on download

Anybody else getting these? Happened other day too when trying to record Landscapers

Check your broadband

You need an active broadband connection to download shows and movies On Demand. To check your box is connected:

Press Home on your Sky Q remote then scroll to Settings
Select Status followed by Network connection then Network setup
Check both connection to broadband router and Connection to internet are ticked.

Are you on BT internet? My sister in law has this and she said Sky said it is a known fault.

It�s a known fault on Sky since the end of November. So frustrating. I contacted them but they were useless.

We find Sky downloads brilliant. However BT are renewing loads of cable in our area and the speed has dropped badly hence it stops my Internet and Sky. Be better soon.

As above it is a known DNS fault and is to do with sky and BT Home hub. The issue is sky�s end.
We had an engineer come out who put in a code and it worked but doesn�t work for everyone.
I posted this for someone else on fb and it worked for them-

We�ve had this issue for a few weeks. Its a country wide problem I believe that Sky know about.

I can see you have a sky hd box with Wi-Fi not Q by your picture. Try and switch off your box at the mains and your router. Delete the failed recording and try again.

Thanks everyone for replying - I have a few things to go with here� and yes, with BT. My parents are having same issue..
