To anyone who’s eaten at Crystal Palace since it reopened…

We go in 5 weeks. Our routine is always MK on our first day and lunch at Crystal Palace. That is all booked but I’ve only just noticed that the characters are not back yet 😩😩
Is it worth it without them? I must admit my initial reaction is to cancel. I’ve always enjoyed the food there but it seems a lot if money still when there’s no characters there.

Any opinions gratefully received.

We went on Christmas Day. I thought the food was lovely, but the rest of the family were a bit meh. It’s cheaper at the moment without the characters. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back, but glad we went. (The other option i looked at was Liberty Tree Tavern, but I got out voted)

We had dinner at Crystal Palace early Dec - no characters but was only $35 a head. Quality of food was very good - beef / fish etc
