Hi all
Going to disney in October for 5 nights before we go into a villa. Which one do you think would be best? |

CSR. I love the vibe there and the rooms are among the nicest on property, especially if you splurge on a tower upgrade.

I haven’t yet stayed on site but we are booked for CSR in July. It was a throw up between POR and it and eventually opted for CSR because - all things considered - I preferred the rooms.
I did a lot of research by watching as many YouTube reviews of each resort as I could find. It was really enjoyable and I missed the research once my choice was made. We were due to go in May 2020 - finally getting there in July 2022 🤞 |

I have stayed at both , but before the tower was built at CSR. If the pool is a consideration then CSR is a great pool. We were in Casitas and didn’t find it too spread out, although the bridges they have now built do connect the resort more.
If you enjoyed Disney Springs and plan on a spending a bit of time there them POR might be better as there is the boat that takes you to DS. It has been some time since we stayed at POR, our last visit we stayed at POFQ and that is a lovely resort too and I thought the food court was very good for a smaller resort. |

I've stayed at POR and it's absolutely a beautiful resort, as is Riverside. I would never tell anyone not to stay there.
This time we've opted for Coronado Springs mainly because we've never stayed there and because it's a moderate resort with deluxe resort amenities. This is mainly due to it being a conference resort. I believe CS has the most eateries of any resort on property, as well as spas and gyms. Rooms also have Keurig (K-Cup) coffee machines, as opposed to the cheaper Cuisinart machines found in other moderate/value resorts. Disney have spent a lot of money on CS in recent years with the addition of the Gran Destino Tower, Three Bridges and also resort-wide room refurbishments. CS is also centrally located between Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Having said that, POR and Riverside aren't as sprawling as CS and are much more manageable in terms of walking. You also have a lovely boat service to Disney Springs. Edited at 03:29 PM. |

CSR is the only resort to have a restaurant in the middle if a lake and the only resort to have a restaurant and lounge with a view of the 4 theme parks.

We have visited both and stayed at Port Orleans, I would recommend port Orleans French quarter if it is available as an option. Smaller resort, only one bus stop. Good pool and facilities. Boat to Disney springs.

Have stayed at both, POR was great when the kids were younger but CSR fits us better with teenagers. Riverside has a lovely relaxed feeling and the boat the Disney Springs is a huge plus, CSR’s location seemed to better for the parks. You wont make a bad choice, both are lovely. We slightly prefer CSR now, but would happily stay at POR again.
