Does anyone's young teen have a job?
My dd (14) keeps pestering me that her friends have jobs! I would rather she focus on studying and hobbies!
But it made me wonder if yours have jobs - and if so - what do they do? An extra question How did your kids source these jobs?

My DS 16 has been a football referee since he was 14, a very well paid job really! He’s packing in the games now since he’s finished school as he’s going to college in September to play basketball so won’t have time to ref then.

When my youngest son was 13 & a half, he started an early morning paper round, then moved onto McDonald’s when he was 15, I was worried about his exams but he did very well, just have to make sure they don’t over do it

Are kids allowed to work at McDonald's at 15?! I'm a bit out of touch! What did he do?

My daughter is 16 and has had a Saturday job in a Hairdressers since she was 14. No doubt she will do some extra hours from next week when school breaks up.

My daughter had a job waitressing in a restaurant from age 15. She found them as they were advertised on Facebook. She was there about a year or so and now she has two jobs while at Uni. She works on a farm and helps children with special needs ride horses. She also works night shifts in a vet hospital assisting the vet in surgery and on the critical care wards. She tends to pick up shifts here now and again as they can work as many or as little as they want. If the shifts are available then they can book themselves on.
