Nappies/pull ups.. size 8?
We are going to Florida next year for 22 days.
Our son is 8 (will turn 9 when we are over there) has severe autism among other things. He is non verbal and still in pull ups. We are hoping that we can get him out of pull ups by may next year But if we can’t am I able to buy size 8 pull ups/large kid pull ups in any supermarket in America? He’s a skinny little thing as he doesn’t sit still but size 7 are now snug ish and he gets them supplied by the nhs at the moment. I don’t really want to take 3 weeks worth of nappies in a case as the amount he will drink with it being hot means I will probably go through 6+ Pull ups a day (the don’t hold much to be honest). That’s over 130 pull ups minimum I will need not including one for each night etc. I’d much rather buy 3 weeks worth of pulls ups while I’m out there if I’m able to otherwise it looks like his case will be full of nappies 😅 |

Why not look on Walmart and see the sizing US sizes are slightly different
It actually may work out cheaper to take yours with you and pay for an extra case one way |

I am afraid I would take what works. If you have a size and shape that works why have the worry of looking for something new and different that may not and could be unsettling for your son.
The added bonus is you will have an empty case for your shopping when you come home |

I think contact your airline, they sometimes allow extra baggage, x they did with us a few years ago. X

You'll deffinately be able to get the size we baught some in publix a few years ago. However as said before they are more expensive.
When my son used them we took some and baught some. As said before most airlines will give extra luggage allowance for things like that. |

You might be able to get the pull-ups case labelled as medical supplies if you contact the airline.

I didn’t know airlines possibly gave extra baggage allowance for stuff like this.
I’m flying with BA and will send them a email and see what they say. He doesn’t care which ones he uses but buying out there by the looks of it will be over £100 going from the target link for 150 pull ups. A return bag will be cheaper and at least I can fill it I suppose on the way back. |

When we asked about extra luggage a few years ago we were told we could have an extra bag for disability supplies but it had to contain only those things otherwise it would be charges as extra luggage.
