Animal Kingdom Concierge

Has anyone booked AK Concierge with DVC - when I log into my DVC account I can’t see it to book? Any ideas?

Also any tips if you have stayed at club level

Cheers

Apart from the fact we love ALK, Concierge is the reason I bought points there. We initially stayed as cash guests but when DVC introduced the option of using points there it was a no brainier to buy points. We mostly use our points to stay concierge but there’s only 5 studios and 5 one beds so that’s probably why you can’t see them as they’re really hard to get. We’ve been lucky enough to score 1 beds a few times and have one booked for our last 5 nights next summer. What we love about it is that lounge overlooks the lobby so you can hear the drummers and feel the vibe of the lobby also the CM,s there are so nice and of course it’s a lovely place to chill and have breakfast or evening snacks.

Exactly the same with us this is our third contract with only 60 points but reckon can always do Kilimanjaro for a couple of nights. We have done this three times and find it very relaxing to recharge our batteries we have 2 nights club next August followed by1 night standard

I’ve got 6 nights booked at AKL in a value 1 bed at Easter booked at 7 months. The 1 bed concierge room was also available at the same time so always worth checking.

Never say never, especially if you only want a few days and could stretch to a 1 bed as they're slightly easier. Stalk the site as soon as your 7 months opens and keep checking every day, you might get lucky

Forgot to say we usually book 3 nights and 2 nights club and the third night a standard room and you can still stay in the lounge until you check in to your new room so will stay until 9 and then transfer out

We're booked for 1 night concierge at AKV next summer, followed by a value studio. Great idea to stay until you check in to your new room. I didn't realise that. So you can stay as late as you like? eg up to 12 midnight in the lounge (not the room)?

Does that work the other way? ie how EARLY can we get access to the lounge and/or our room for our 1 night stay?

Thanks

Never did concierge before so looking forward to it (hope hope hope) nothing else gets in the way of yet another planned disney trip.

You can check in as early as you like and although your room won't be ready you can get breakfast in the lounge. As the concierge rooms are always booked, I'd say it would be late afternoon before you can access your room.

Thanks Jakki and Happy Xmas.

We are in the POLY for 2 days and on the 3rd day we're booked concierge.

Are they still doing breakfast and evening appetisers? just wondered with covid, what the food options are now?
