Thanks for that , we’ve got a day planned on the 11th December , coming down via train and using the underground, so we can now plan accordingly .

We are also in London from 11th to 12th December. Luckily I've planned so we can walk as staying at the Premier Inn at Kings Cross and we can walk to the theatre , I've booked meals at German Gymnasium and Dishoom which aren't far to walk to.

Oh blooming heck, we’ve already got to come up and back on both saturday and Sunday this week.
Due to engineering works on Sunday we’ve got to drive. I’d planned to drive to Richmond and then use the tube. Thanks for the heads up.

*Looks like it’s just 2 full days actually. Phew

The one date it effects me is 18th as going to a concert - I hope it is sorted for everyone including those heading for LHR given the road closures too

Tha ks for flagging this. I looked at the dates and doesn't affect me. I visit between Christmas and New year. Let's hope they don't strike that week 🙄
Off to look up route closures now. 😒

The strike isnt about pay , it's the change to their contracts that mean they will now be required to work nights .
Nationally tube drivers are down the league for train driver pay
