Just a wee update on dining credit, checkin took down wrong email address for both bookings last night. They are now looking into how they can resend digital gift card. Hopefully will be all sorted out today.

Did you check in early online or did you check in at the front desk? Just wondering where the email discrepancy happened so I can prepare hubby.

Hi I checked in at resort, the app on my phone wasn’t working properly otherwise I would have checked in with that. I am still waiting for them to sort it out so my advise would be to double check they have taken correct email or do online check in if possible. The thing is they didn’t ask my daughter for her email address and she was the other booking they just used mine although had taken it down completely wrong. Hopefully this was just bad luck on our part and no one else has any issues.

We did online check-in a couple of months back, so fingers crossed there’s no issue. But worth knowing there can be. Thanks for letting us know.

So is the dining credit you receive an email, which every time you want to use it, you have to get your phone out to scan a barcode type thing to use it ?
If so surely there must be another way, like a physical ticket , I certainly don’t want to be using my phone on holiday , I want to be getting away from having to be glued to it Jules

Hi, yes it’s a digital gift card that you have to scan every time you use. They didn’t offer us option of physical card when we had issues and said they had no way of fixing at time until another department got involved with resending email so don’t think physical card is option or certainly wasn’t for us.
