Well we made it
A bit alarmed at check in where they actually ring Canberra for all incomers, to check if all is correct on the paperwork
Passed that and then progression all good, even in Melbourne - straight through the E-gates. (Unwittingly at the same time that Djokovic was being held!).
Then the bonus piece of paper saying that we only had to take a rapid antigen test OR a PCR within 24 hours and if negative we were free to see the family. They did not have to be a supervised test. We’d been forewarned that test kits here were very hard to find at the moment, so taken some with us.
Straight to air B&B, took the test - both negative so off to meet the grandchildren

I'm watching the test match on TV in UK, very annoyed that I should be in the members pavilion today (as I should have moved already and friends where hosting us - oh well should be heading out mid Feb, hence the interest in the flights and testing)
