Mobile Booking park days

I am completely lost in all the new rules and regulations 😬
Do you still have to book your park days? If so, how far in advance an you book them?

If your plans change and you decide to go in the evening rather than morning is that ok or do you need to change it online?
Can you just turn up at any parks or will you not get in?
Thanks

Yes you do. This is just for the main four Disney parks. No other parks require reservation that I'm aware of, including the Disney waterparks.

You can currently book up to January 2024 so as far out as you'd like, but you can cancel and rebook if you change your mind right up until on the day, assuming there is still availability at the park you want to switch to. You can also not make park reservations until on the day if you want but again, you can only book what's available so may miss out if it's a busy day. I'd recommend a few weeks out, maybe a bit further if travelling in peaks like Christmas. That booked out around the 60 day mark IIRC.

It's an all day reservation, doesn't matter what time you show up. But you must have a reservation to enter your first park of the day, you won't be let in without one. You don't need reservations for additional parks if you plan to park hop after 2pm. But note if you go to a waterpark in the morning and then a theme park in the afternoon, you will still need a reservation as it's considered your first park.

You're fine for July, there's currently no park fully booked including for today. They don't tend to book up more than a few weeks in advance in busy periods, and up to 60 days in peak.
