So does anyone else worry about rates? I’m thinking should I get some tomorrow before the rate drops again on Monday... I can get 1.306... we’re going Newyork November, so have to get some soon anyways but really considering getting a chunk of my Florida spends for next year... Im thinking could rates get really bad what with Brexit? Last time I went to Florida I had 1.50 then time before that 1.69!

If you buy some dollars every month then you get an average of what the rate is if that makes sense. I’m no expert on politics but I can’t see it rising until this whole Brexit business is over. If in fact it will rise once it is over! I once got $2 to the £1! That was a long time ago now!

I also worry about this! We go to the caribbean in December and this weekend I bought half of our dollars at 1.3. Will buy the other half from October's payday. I'm really hoping the rate doesn't tank again before then! I will just have to hope and pray about our trip next May as I can't get the dollars for that now.

When we went to Florida last year we only got 1.22 and everything felt expensive. Didn't ruin our trip by any means but I did go all Yorkshire and utter " 'ow much?!" a lot.

No I never worry about exchange rates, I never waste my time worrying about things that I cannot change.

The prospect of no deal Brexit has long been a possibility and is already baked into exchange rates.

I don’t think the £ will start a proper recovery until after March next year, then when we will see it is not the end of the world after all it will start to recover.
