Day at Sea 11/08/13 Disney Magic

We got up at 8.00 and all washed and dressed ready for Breakfast we decided to go to Parrot Cay they seated us at a table next to the window wow what a view.

We all had cereal and juice to start I wish I could get the Kellogg's Granola with Raisins at home it's very nice. Then I had Mickey Waffles and bacon with maple syrup Nigel had the same with a biscuit and Rebecca just had Mickey Waffles, all washed down with plenty of coffee.





After breakfast Nigel went back to the Stateroom while Rebecca and I queued to meet the Princesses in the Antrim, we met Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora and Tianah we must have waited for about an hour.











After meeting the Princesses we went to Preludes to meet Minnie Mouse.



We then went back to the Stateroom to get into our swimming costumes to go into the pool. We had to find Nigel as he was up on deck 10 enjoying the sunshine it was now 12 o'clock and he was beginning to wonder where we were.

We stayed on deck 10 for the rest of the day soaking up the sun Rebecca was enjoying the pool and the slide.



We had lunch at 1pm I had a ham roll and Nigel had Beef and Horseradish and a Turkey and Cranberry roll. We also had a plate of fruit. Rebecca was still in the pool and didn't want to come out for
lunch.





At about 2pm I had to insist that Rebecca came out of the pool for a bite to eat she had 2 slices of Ham and Pineapple Pizza followed by an ice cream, while Nigel and I had a coffee each.



They were showing Teen Beach Movie on Funnel Vision, so we watched that.

We then went to wash up and change for Dinner at 5pm as it was the Gala Dinner tonight Nigel was nervous he was going to be underdressed. To be honest some people were dolled up and some didn't bother dressing tidy at all they wore polo shirts or t-shirts so he needn't have worried at all.





We got to Animators Palette at 6.15 Nigel and I both had a cocktail it was called Enchanted Slipper it was sparkling wine with schnapps and was very sweet.

To start we both had the Duck Enchiladas which were very tasty, Nigel also tried the Sausage and Potato Casserole he said that was also very nice, Rebecca started with the fruit cup.



For mains I had the Turkey and Nigel had the New York Strip again we couldn't fault anything, Rebecca had her usual Chicken Tenders and Chips and a coke.





For Dessert I had a trio of dessets which was Tiramasu, Lemon Cheesecake and Chocolate Souffle just the right size portions, Nigel decided on 2 desserts Banana Bread Pudding which he said was gorgeous and the chocolate souffle Rebecca had the rocky road sundae, sorry no photos forgot to take spare batteries to dinner.

After our meal we went to change our clothes and Rebecca wanted to go to Oceaneers Lab, although all day she had been on about going to see Monsters University at 9pm. So we dropped Rebecca off at the Lab and went to do some laundry it was 27 minutes for a wash and 45 minutes for a dry.

Then we went up to deck 10 for a drink while we waited for the washing to dry. I had a Bacardi and Coke and Nigel had an Estrella 16.00 Euros.



While wandering around the ship we bumped into Donald Duck #1 at Preludes so we had our photo taken characters are not just for the children.




At 10pm we picked Rebecca up from the Lab so we could all go for a drink together it was Karaoke night is Studio Sea. I had a Strawberry Daquiri and Nigel had a Margarita Rebecca had a coke.





We stayed until 11pm as we have got a busy day planned for tomorrow so we all went straight to bed

Love that raisin granola! The Sainsburys raisin and apple granola is really similar though ... It's in a big green bag ok.
