La Spezia 13/8/13
Up bright and early 8 o'clock as we hadn't booked any Port Adventures we went to Parrot's Cay for breakfast. Where we had the usual cereal, Juice, Waffles, Bacon and Coffee.
We finished breakfast and headed towards the Antrim where we met Minnie Mouse. Then we went to Deck 1 as they had announced that we were now allowed to go down for the tender. It took us about 20 minutes to get across. We got a map of the town as soon as we landed and then wandered around the shopping streets there were lost of sales on with up to 70% off. Nigel and Rebecca had an Ice Cream each unfortunately I can't eat Ice Cream at the moment as I am waiting to have my gallbladder out. We decided to head back to the ship at 1pm as the shops were closing, we got back on board at 1.15 and got some Pizza and coffee for lunch. Rebecca and I then went to the Cinema to watch Monsters University in 3D. which we both thoroughly enjoyed. After the film we went up to deck 9 to see what Nigel was up to he was sunning himself on a lounger in the Adult only area, so we left him to it and went to Preludes to meet Pluto and Goofy. While we were waiting for Goofy we bumped into Chip and Dale and Stitch this made Rebecca's day After we had met the characters we went to shower and change for our evening meal. All dressed we went to meet Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. [IMG][/IMG] Our evening meal tonight was in Lumiere's I had a cocktail to start and Nigel had a Larger and Rebecca had coke. To start I had the French Onion soup followed by the Sea Bass, Nigel had the Duck Confit followed by the Grain fed Steak. Rebecca had the roast chicken with chips again all of the food was delicious. For Dessert I had the Sweet Temptations which was a Choux Pastry, Creme Brulee and Chocolate Mouse, Rebecca had the Rich Chocolate Pudding and Nigel ordered the Brioche and Pannettone Bread Pudding, and the Creme Brulee, and then Cyprian our server also brought us the Grand Marnier Souffle, my gosh we were stuffed we could hardly move. We went back to the room to change and look what we found on the bed. Rebecca wanted to go to the Oceaneers Lab so we took her there and then we had a walk around the deck had to try and walk off all that food. We decided to go and see the show in the Theater which was all about Walt Disney the man it was very good. We collected Rebecca at 10 and we all went to bed as we have got a busy day in Rome tomorrow. Civitechveccio and Rome
