Celebration on Halloween

Can anyone give me some advice please we are staying in LBV and i have heard Celebration is a great place to visit at Halloween could this be an alternative way to enjoy 31st October without having to spend money on expensive park tickets.Could we maybe get and uber cab to and from the area and what would we do when we are there is it a large area that we could get lost in and would there be special events going on. Was thinking we could go in costume by cab have a meal and trick or treat would this be a good plan.?

celebration is a small town, akin to pleasentville in the movie of the same name. Get the before dark and have a nice walk around the lake, get an ice cream from the parlour, walk up to the pub and I imagine they'll have stuff on at Halloween. It's lovely.

We visited at Halloween a few years ago and arrived at the centre around 5 and at that time was starting to get busy. We left about 8 and the traffic to get into Celebration stretched back to the 192.
If getting picked up by a taxi I would expect a long wait.
We will visit Celebration a number of times during our holiday as we love the peacefulness of the place, and as mentioned above you can enjoy a stroll around the lake, have a meal and then an ice cream at Kilwins.

If you make it you'll be amazed at the extent that some people decorate their houses.

Mostly gone by mid-day 1st November though.
