Clearwater and sand fleas

I have just returned from 2 nights at Clearwater beach (beautiful and amazing) with at least 300 bites. We hired 2 sun beds but I lay on a towel on the sand and clearly ended up on a sand flea nest. The bites are awful. Please hire a sunbed if you go to the beach.x

Sand fleas are nasty little blighters. DH and I often get bitten if we don't put on repellant. There is a good article here about the bites, what to watch out for and how to treat them. It's not always cream, look at the advice on black centres to the bites and females. fleabites/sand-flea-b...nd-prevention/
