Can't answer first hand on parking I'm afraid, as I don't drive. They might not let you self park, but they'd probably let you valet park (around $20 I believe) regardless. But you could definitely park at T&TC and either walk or monorail around to the Poly if they don't let you in to the resort lot.

If you want cheap but less convenient, I think you can park at DS for free then get a resort bus to the Poly from there. You don't have to be a resort guest to use the internal bus service. They've introduced paid parking at DS but it's only for the preferred lots AFAIK. I don't know how late the buses run TO DS though, I know it's quite late back to the resorts.

I forgot about valet parking.

We've valet parked at both the Grand Floridian and the Poly this week to go to MK. On the 2nd trip we headed back to the GF about 8:30 and watched the fireworks from the marina.

We watched the fireworks from the ferry dock at the ttc this year. It was a great view and the music is piped over to the area. As we arrived later in the evening we didn't have to pay for parking so we got to see the fireworks for free !

You could always park at Disney Springs and catch a bus to/from a resort. Maybe combine it with a meal at DS (some good QS options, so easier on the bank balance) and a spot of shopping (not so easy on the bank balance ) or just soaking up the atmosphere there too?

We went to say goodbye to Wishes Easter this year and did three ways of saying goodbye without doing a usual Disney hol:
First night Boardwalk after Beaches and Cream dessert and then watched fireworks at Epcot and HS from there, drove to TTC, no charge for parking at that time, went through security and watched from near ferry dock
Cali Grill: you can just get flatbreads /cocktails etc from there earlier in evening then go back to balcony to watch fireworks later, although we did the full 3 course and wine thing and paused between courses to watch the fireworks. Wow
Final night we had planned to share a Wishes cruise with another Dibber but they cancelled day before so we bit bullet and bought one day tickets to MK, spent whole day and had an amazing time including our final view of Wishes ever. Magical (OK not cheap but magical all the same)
